Around the Villages
We are situated in close proximity to the quaint village of Glaslough and roughly 8kms from Emyvale. Glaslough has been described as Monaghan’s ‘Hidden Gem’ . It is host to the famous ‘Leslie’s Castle’ which was built in 1870. The Village offers several amenities such as its own Equestrian Center, a Cookery School, several relaxing walks around the village itself and The Castle Leslie Estate to name but a few. The village also prides itself in taking part in ‘Tidy Towns’ competition where we have won many honours.Other amenities near by are the local GAA Club, Emyvale GFC,which caters for girls and boys of all ages. There are also Irish Dancing Classes, Emy Bells (a club suited to all mums), Glaslough Harriers Running Club and lots lots more.
